Meet Katie Serafen, PA-C at Generations Family Practice in Cary, NC

Katie Serafen, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Generations Family Practice. She worked as a PA in emergency medicine for almost four years before joining Generations Family Practice. She is excited to be back in North Carolina practicing as a PA.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Katie attended college at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. She received a Master of Medical Science degree from Mercer University’s PA program.

Katie is very passionate about her medical career and looks forward to seeing patients of all ages, as well as developing personalized treatment plans for her patients. She is well-versed in acute care and procedures and has a special interest in women’s health and dermatology.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys travel, yoga, true crime podcasts, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her significant other, family, and friends. She is also a dog lover.
